Lewiston (Maine) Police Support Services Division Page

The Support Services Division is responsible for the maintenance of all records and reports generated by the department, as well as the compilation of the department's Uniform Crime Report (U.C.R.) which is submitted monthly. Support Services is also responsible for parking fine collection, the maintenance of the police facility and the department's fleet of vehicles.

The Division oversees the department's computer systems, evidence and property management, communications, in-service training, crime prevention and community relations.

Recently created is the department's Crime Analysis Unit which gives Officers and Detectives up-to-date information on crime trends throughout the city.
