An old Coca-Cola distribution center had been torn down to make way for the construction of the new Lewiston Police Facility. The tent was erected for the groundbreaking ceremonies. |

This was taken during mid-construction. The station (center of photo) was finished and dedicated in November 1986. The pool and basketball courts pictured at the bottom are part of Kennedy Park - a focal point of downtown Lewiston. |

The parking compound at the rear of the Lewiston Police Station.
It provides a secure place to park the police vehicles, and allows them to be easily accessible in those times of emergency. The lot and its two large garage bays are continually monitored by closed circuit cameras. |
