Administrative Division

. The Administration Division is composed of the Chief of Police, the Deputy Chief of Police and the Administrative Sergeant. The Chief of Police plans and manages the department's budget and works closely with city officials to ensure that the residents of Lewiston receive the best police services possible.

The Deputy Chief of Police manages the day-to-day operations of the department by overseeing the other three divisions. He is second in command of the department and serves as Chief in his absence.

The Administrative Sergeant is responsible for preparing all of the department's policies and procedures consistent with national standards. He is also the department's grant writer and Accreditation Manager. The Administrative Sergeant also deals with Councilor/Constituent Concerns that are applicable to the department.
